Graduating with a Bachelor of Education degree, I taught school, then moved into the business world. I became an accredited personnel consultant and manager, having received a certificate in management development from the commerce department of the University of Alberta.

Then, as an adult educator, I instructed programs in communication, human relations, and priority management.

In 1990, I received my M.A. in Counselling Psychology and began in private practice. I received my Ph. D. in Psychology in 2002. My studies focused on social psychology, personality and spirituality.

I am currently an instructor for the MA in Counselling Psychology program at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
